Reporting an error
A report is easiest to check when it names the page, the row and the form it should show, together with the source: a national statistics office, a gazette, an ISO 3166 newsletter or a language academy. Names in a non-Latin script are best sent as text, not as a screenshot, so the exact characters survive.
Using the data
The country codes, the first-level subdivisions and the historical units can be downloaded as UTF-8 CSV files from the homepage. Each row names the page it comes from. Questions about larger extracts or about a specific table can go to the address above.

Which details help when reporting a wrong name?
The page address, the row, the correct form and a named source. For a subdivision, the ISO 3166-2 code of the unit saves a step.
Can I suggest a new language for the word lists?
Yes. Suggestions with a dictionary or academy source for every form can be added to a word list or a language page.
Is there a contact form?
No. Email and phone are the ways to get in touch; nothing is collected on the pages themselves.
