Sesel and seselwa: the official languages and the name
Seychelles has three official languages, and the Creole one spells the name Sesel, the Republic Repiblik Sesel. The adjective and the name of the language are seselwa, Seychellois, which is the word in the anthem title Koste Seselwa. Mauritian Creole uses the same form, Sesel. English and French share the spelling Seychelles, with République des Seychelles in French; the currency is the roupi in Creole, the rupee in English and the roupie in French, each of 100 cents (san).
Elsewhere the spelling is adapted. Polish writes Seszele, Croatian and Slovene Sejšeli, Albanian Sejshelet, Turkish Seyşeller, Estonian Seišellid and Latvian Seišelu salas. Swahili calls the islands Visiwa vya Shelisheli, Italian Seicelle and Portuguese Seicheles beside Seychelles.

Ans Bwalo and Anse Boileau: Creole and French district names
The Creole district names respell the French ones. Anse Boileau is Ans Bwalo, Anse aux Pins Ans o Pen, Beau Vallon Bovalon, Port Glaud Porglo and Saint Louis Sen Lwi. English mostly keeps the French name and adds District, though ISO uses English River for La Rivière Anglaise, Larivyer Anglez in Creole.
The list of districts has grown twice. ISO added Les Mamelles and Roche Caiman in 2010, and in November 2020 Ile Perseverance I and II; their Creole names are not part of the ISO table and are left blank.
