Naoero and Nauru
Nauruans call their island Naoero, and the republic Republik Naoero. The language itself is dorerin Naoero, and the same word serves as the adjective. English took the name as Nauru, and almost every language in the list follows the English spelling.
The differences are small and mostly about vowels. Icelandic and one of the Irish forms write Nárú, Esperanto Nauro, Malagasy Naoro, Haitian Creole Naorou and Norman Nâorou, which keeps the French way of writing the sound u. Maltese and Quechua write Nawru, Walloon Nawouro, Manx Naaroo. In Cyrillic it is Науру; Belarusian also lists Наўру with the short u, and Old Church Slavonic Наоуроу with the old digraph оу.
Arabic and Pashto share ناورو, while Urdu gives three spellings. Japanese ナウル and Korean 나우루 follow the English sound closely.
